Hi everyone,

Here's your monthly update for Alcove Photo Club. 

We've had a really busy summer with almost weekly events. It's been so great meeting so many of you and sharing our love for photography.

I'm planning to slow down starting in the fall/winter to focus on the zine and developing new workshops for next year, as well as start planning the exhibition. With that being said, we have a bunch of events coming up in October!

Event Schedule

  1. Saturday, Oct. 12 (4pm-6pm): Print Exchange

  2. Sunday, Oct. 13 (4pm-6pm): Beltline Community Photo Walk

  3. Monday, Oct. 21 (7pm-9pm): Street Photography at Night

  4. Wednesday, Oct. 30 (6pm-8pm): East Village Halloween TFP

Alcove Photo Club Membership

Thank you to all those who signed up for the 2024/2025 Zine and Exhibition! The submissions for the Zine have closed now, but you can still sign up to participate in the Exhibition in June 2025.

Try Before You Buy at The Camera Store

If you’re looking to buy a camera or try some different gear out, The Camera Store has a Try Before You Buy Program, which allows you to rent their gear out for free. Try out some new gear for our next event!

For those of you who don’t own a camera, this is a great way to try one out for free!
